Built Heritage Conservation can be studied with one of thirty other subjects including Art, History and Religious Studies. The programme has been developed in conjunction with the Church Maintenance Trust who initiated this degree programme in order to promote the high levels of skill needed to ensure the survival of ecclesiastical heritage. The programme provides a comprehensive education in the technologies associated with interior and exterior elements of historic structures. The course synthesises history, theory and practice, which are subsequently exercised in real-life conservation projects.
